Actually, his anti-LGBT stances are OK with a lot of us. We're thankful we finally have a voice in this debate.

Own it then, pp. I wish you horrible Trump supporters would stop prefacing your comments with, "I'm not a racist/xenophobe/anti-gay/fill in the blank, but I voted for Trump." We all know why you voted for Trump. It essentially comes down to this: there are good people and bad people, and the bad ones voted for Trump. Own it. Because there's no way a decent person would vote for Trump/Pence.

NP here. Wow, what a hateful blanket statement. I voted for Trump, though I wasn't thrilled to do so. I also have a gay sibling whom I love dearly. I didn't vote for Trump/Pence because I am in any way against gay people, for crying out loud. Trump doesn't have any issue with homosexuals, and Pence's personal beliefs honestly don't concern me at all. I haven't heard anything about plans to change our laws re: LGBT rights, and one man certainly can't push through laws to suit his own agenda. That's why we have checks and balances in place.

What about Obama's previous stance that he did not support gay marriage? He certainly flip-flopped on that one, and I'm happy he did.

Np. Americans top priority is not gay rights but immigration, border controls, and the economy. Its libs who have their panties in a bunch and want marches, violent protests and stereotype trump voters.

Precisely. I'm beyond sick and tired of the identity politics liberals love to play. Honestly, so much hate rhetoric is coming from the left. What a bunch of hypocrites.

It's actually the conservatives who enjoy identity politics. It's just that the only identity that you thinks matters and should be respected is white sorta Christian men.

LOL, Pence's "personal" beliefs became the law in IN! Sometimes folks actually put their words into deeds.

hmmmm...how old are you? Those aren't really valid comparisons. We're talking human behavior and sexuality here.

Why should your hateful opinions about who other people choose to love have any voice?

You don't CHOOSE to love someone of the same sex.

In fact, you actually don't have a choice.

Tomorrow I won't be waking up, saying to myself, "Today, I choose to love a woman instead of a man."

If choice comes into play, then conversion therapy does work.

Uh, I didn't say that. But you do choose to love a specific person. Why on earth anyone's choice in partner affects any other grown adult to the point they want laws made against it is beyond me.

Because many people, in considering the anatomy of males and females, as well as their ability to procreate, view homosexuality as unnatural.

So? two consenting adults who are in a relationship does not affect you. You really don't need to bleat on about how you personally find it unnatural. It's not your relationship, don't worry about it. I will never understand this about anti LGBT people. Why do you CARE how other adults choose to live their lives? Worry about your own marriage and quit trying to legislate other adults' love lives.

Because it's my society and I don't like its attempts to normalize perversion. Yes, that does "affect me."

It must be hard being so personally disturbed by other people's happiness.

Oh my god, you are the worst sort of ignorant moralist: the kind who believes himself to be intellectually superior in addition to morally superior.

Friend, I am hear to tell you that the brainpower of thousands of very smart people are aligned against you to protect our constitutional rights to marry and be treated equally under the law.

Air conditioners and Cheetos don't have relationships with God. Humans do.

Your rhetoric = my constitutionally projected rights. there is a constitutional right to gay equality under the law. Sorry you hate the constitution so much.

PP here. I didn't say those were my beliefs; I was answering a question.

Using "homosexual" is a giveaway.

You're one of a dying breed, thank goodness. You're a hateful person but I guess you know that.

NP. Don't worry. The dying breed lives on with the likes of you. Your type condemns people based on one single off-color comment as a racist or misogynist.

You're carrying the torch for PP!

Curious: How many off-color comments are you allowed before the people listening to you start to think "She's a racist/misogynist"?

3? 10? 100?

It should only be one. Someone makes an inappropriate statement? Send 'em off to the gulag! Guantanamo is too good for these people!
