IMG Academy

This was the last year for the US soccer national team residence academy at Bradenton, so now only the basic IMG program remains for soccer. We know more people who have moved their kids down to the Monteverdi Academy for soccer, also in Florida. Their boys teams are always quite good, but it seems odd to me to do it when we have plenty of great non residential DA options around here.

The joke with the soccer academy is that the curriculum is a coloring book - many of the parents still supplement academic side with tutors. And only a handful go on to play pro.
