PGCPS policies to prevent abuse are hurting us further

I do support the bolded statement. But there does need to be some balance. Primarily because when teachers or administrators are placed on administrative leave for however many weeks, there are serious repercussions. They are not necessarily replaced by anyone competent. There is no guarantee that a good long term sub will be hired to take over their class.

A majority of our teachers have returned. There were no updates on the status of their cases while they were out even after we asked the PGCPS administration. Poof and one day they returned with no heads up or inkling. Once they returned, it was quickly communicated in a letter to the parents, which was much appreciated. Fingers crossed that this poor implementation of the new policies do not occur in the future. I am wondering if there are other schools lucky enough to get their teachers back after they are cleared?
