Relatively speaking, was it difficult to get into Georgetown in the 80s?

I went to Georgetown in the late 90s. Top 10% of my HS class, tons of APs, SAT was 1300 I think, and extra curriculars weren't strong. Also not wealthy. I was surprised I got in, but I did well once there.
