Do you buy logo items from hotels you stay in?

No. I just assumed people bought the hotel branded stuff because they went on vacation and forgot or lost their hat, jacket, sweatshirt, etc...

I can see intentionally buying presents or mementos from places you visit (Barcelona) but hotels, unless you need to use the stuff right then? No.

Like anything else its just for braggarts. They need EVERYONE to know they stayed at Cheeca or wherever.

I bought a cute beach bag with the caneel bay logo, and I have a couple nice beach towels with resort logos that I got for sitting through a time share pitch.

Really nice 1%er hotel in Palm Beach, FL.

It's not even that nice. It's kind of run down.

I thought people just steal the towels.

Cheesy? Too labely? People must buy these because there are entire stores devoted to this merchandise within luxury hotels.

I don't understand adults who feel the need to advertise the things they've done or places they've been on their clothing.

This.

Super weird.

I get a hat every place I go - it's a thing now, like a collection. I wear them to my kids soccer games to keep sun off my face and hide my unwashed hair. I never thought it looked cheesy or braggy but now that I think about it maybe it IS odd to be wearing ritz Carlton and four seasons hats. Now I don't want to wear them.

Thanks. NP here, but all I could come up with was the mansion in RI, which of course isn't a hotel.

Regarding the OP: No, not unless I forgot something and really need a replacement. I do buy stuff from places I visit sometimes, though (eg, a national park t-shirt). But not with a hotel logo (which would be like Hampton Inn or something anyway).

Golf courses maybe.

My kids get souvenir magnets but they are usually of the city, not the hotel.

No, we don't buy Ritz Carlton logo shirts.

I still have a Caneel Bay each bag from 20 years. I bought it because I needed a beach bag, but I still like it!

My caneel bay tote is 18 years old and still kicking! I also bought gold earrings with the logo (which is also the logo of the island).

Since we usually stay at holiday Inn express, my answer is no.

Although I could see myself sporting a a holiday Inn express Polo, popped collar and all.
