I felt like if you didn't listen to what she was saying and the cognitive dissonance, she seemed very rational. The fact that she stayed calm was a plus for her. I could definitely see her having a career as a pundit after this election.

There are a couple of women on CNN with awful voices. I cannot think of their names right now. Allyson Camerata's voice is very nice, though. Dana Bash is fine, too.

Megyn Kelly's voice is excellent for television. But, I agree that Conway's voice is not pleasant--but she is not a reporter or journalist. I don't think it sexist to complain about a voice that makes you want to turn off the television.

I don't like Hillary--but her voice is not offensive.

Remarkably not self.aware that you don't see it is only women whose voices "make you want to turn off the television" and then claim it isn't sexism. Sigh.

Complaining about content or tone (that they are nasty, or contributing to incivility) is different than complaining about the quality of a woman's voice, or how it sounds. And it is another way you try to push women out of the discourse. Not touching the content (which is a changeable choice) but attacking how they look or sound (which is much harder to change and more fundamental to who they are).

Both Trump and Clinton have had their hair made fun of for decades. That's really what you want to hang your hat on?
