In layman's terms, it's a humorous pictorial representation of a current event or the zeitgeist of the time. LIVE LAUGH LOVE, for instance, is not a meme. It's a low brow inspirational saying. As is "be brave, kind, smart, with a little smart ass thrown in!" |

I dislike the MJ crying meme, but that started before this summer.
I like the Pokemon memes such as "______ is on Team Instinct". Okay I'm probably too old for Pokemon and the memes it spawned. |
