Really good audiobooks (not for kids)

Killer Angels (fiction)
Battle Cry of Freedom (non-fiction)

If you like urban fantasy: Dresden File series. James Marsters does a terrific job reading these. (It's a long series. I would start with Grave Peril, the third book. It's more polished than the first two. )

I love James Marsters enough that I will have to look into this!

I've listened to a few. They're great!

Even better, I thought, were his novellas. I downloaded the set of all three from our library:

Has anyone read/listened to The Martian? I loved the movie and now I'm kicking myself for not reading the book first. Is it readable/enjoyable if I've already seen the movie?

The audio for The Martian was great. I was on trans-Atlantic cruise while listening to it. Was great and loved it.

Great resource. Thanks!

I'm guessing the narration makes a huge difference. Which do you recommend?

I'm listening to Stephen King's 11/22/63 and find myself wishing I had a longer commute.
