LOL I fail to see how underwear prevents sweat and everything that comes with it at the end of the day. I imagine an extra layer would only contribute to it. Then again, if you can't afford frequent trips to a laundromat, then it's probably best to wear your tighty whities

I am a guy. I rarely go commando. Usually only when there is only no clean underwear.

In my perspective, it is neither sexy nor revealing. But, there is the risk of zipper.....Underwear protects me from the ZIPPER.

FWIW, the accidental boner would be just a visible with Undies as with commando. But, at my age, I do not have to worry about that.

IMO undies need to be washed after each wearing - but shorts/pants can be re-worn if not dirty. So w/o undies in between, I'd be inclined to wash shorts/pants each time. As long as being w/o underwear doesn't give everyone a show and you don't mind the extra laundry, go for it.

This is a totally personal choice. Public opinion should not weigh in n at all on anyone's underwear, or lack thereof, choices. Let your DH do what's comfortable for him.

I agree with this. No big deal either way - free to be you and me. But I won't do it because of (1) zipper, (2) extra layer of protection keeps me from sweating through khakis on hot day, which would be pretty embarrassing, (3) I can hear my mom saying "always wear underwear, because what if you're in a traffic accident?!?"

Skipping underwear won't make me much cooler at all, but will increase odds of something unpleasant happening, so I'll keep wearing. I'm a boxers person so maybe that helps. Seems briefs would be less comfortable.

Nope, I'm in health care on the rehab side. There is no question in my mind that I've had more experiences with this sort of thing than you have, given the nature of my work and the years I've done it.

Looking at it coolly and clinically .... scrotum stink is a real thing. Not right out of the shower but hours later.

Congrat on being so not-"uptight" that you like that smell.

DH and DS go commando offten, I don’t care less laundry to do if fact my DH only wears it to work as an example to my DS so he wear it to school because I insist he wear it to school
