The only one I have read is the Jenny McCarthy belly laughs book, which I liked
Then she had to go all anti-vaxxer "I cured autism" bonkers, and I just can never get into anything she does ever again |
so, so, so over-rated... Lena Dunham is a sh*t, she basically wrote a fake memoir of being raped at Oberlin. "Barry" didn't rape her and sued: http://www.laughspin.com/2014/12/08/lena-dunham-sued-over-rape-accusations-in-book-not-that-kind-of-girl-barry-trying-to-clear-name-after-reports-cast-doubt-on-sexual-assault-allegations/ Go to a tiny college and make up stories about the 1 guy you date--yes, Lena, no one likes being accused of rape. |
| Mindy Kailing's Why Not Me? |
| Rob Lowe. |
That book was the worst. Clearly written by someone who does not have kids. Tina Fey's is great. Leah Remini's Troublemaker book was good, if at its heart a depressing tale of a cult Really, really old ones that are hard to get (but maybe not so much in the internet years) are great, too. Doris Day and Joan Crawford's autobiographies are amazing. |

Scar Tissue by RHCP Anthony Kiedis Rob Lowe Brooke Sheilds Book about her mom Keith Richards Mindy Kalling-Why is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?? |
Are you kidding??? DH and I loved reading it to DS, who loved it just as much. When I was checking it out of the library, multiple kids came up to me and told me how much they loved it. Oh, on the kids' books written by celebrities list: the Marcel the Shell with Shoes On books by Jenny Slate are fantastic. They come from her three YouTube videos about the character. Make me crack up every time. |

Craig Ferguson wrote both a memoir and a novel. Both are very good.
Greg Proops has a fun book out that's about everything. I also thought Roseanne Barr and Kathy Griffin both wrote interesting, smart memoirs. |
| Bobby Bones! |
+1 These were both terrific. Also enjoyed both Mindy Kaling books. |

Love Mindy Kaling's books. I thought Tina Fey's was very funny.
I thought Amy Poehler's was a huge disappointment. |
