What chores do your 5 and 7 yr old do?? allowance question?

The book "How to Raise an Adult" puts a lot of weight on having kids do chores, and has thorough lists of suggested chores for kids at different ages.

My 6 year old folds and puts away all the laundry (for all four of us). This is a huge task, but he keeps it up.

4 year old sets the table and gets water for each of us before meals.

they both clean up after themselves, make their beds etc. $3 a week for older child, $1 for younger. They don't seem to spend it.
