I get my feelings hurt a lot in DC

I think many people are one-sided. I've seen some people are super nice to some people and just plain ignorant to others and when that happens to be me, I try not to not give them more attention than they give me. I have learned to ignore those who don't seem coherent. Or they say one thing and don't keep there words. I know of 2 moms that are like that. They are super friendly to everyone except me. And the other moms would say hi to me and try to start a conversation but these 2 never even say hi! It's usually me that initiates it.

I have met parents who would stand there and talk to their mommy friends and completely not pay attention to you. And it's worse if you are standing alone. I would never do something like that to another mom. I would try my best to include them somehow but not everyone is like that.

I tried not introducing moms to a lady I know who does that, and it seems unnatural for me to do it.
I would say some people are not very aware of what they do, say or behave.

And these groupy mom clubs- i hate to say it but I tend to get more negative vibes from them more than the working mom.
