How difficult would it be to mulch my own yard?

I'm either an expert at mulching or doing a really crappy job b/c it doesn't take me that long at all. I get a ton of bags - dump them all over the yard, open 'em up and spread them out.
What am I missing? It takes me longer to go to Home Depot and get the bags (at least 2 treks) than the actual mulching part. And if you're having it delivered, that cuts out that step. You'll need a wheelbarrow, shovel and a rake type of thing to spread it. That's it. |

I recently spread 50 bags of mulch. I spread it out over several weekends. My goal was just to move 5 bags each time I worked.
If you take it easy and break it down into manageable bites, it's not so bad. Make the kids help too! |
