When I'm mad at my husband, I blast The Dixie Chicks song, Goodbye Earl.

Grrrrr Grrrrl songs always help me deal with that "overwhelmed" feeling. PJ Harvey and Liz Phair are my go-to grrrls.

+1 "September"

I love this album, too. A lot of longtime Shins fans hated it, but whatever. It's good stuff.

The Wall taught me that sometimes people go through tramautic experiences as children and therefore build strong walls to protect themselves from the pain. It will take time and strength to tear down the wall but once it is down you will be liberated.

My mom was like yours but not to the same extent. Why do you think the Wall resonates with me?
