No bed time I have a 12 year old and 14 year old they can go to bed when they want on the weekends but on the weekdays 10:30
I have a 13 year old and 14 year old they would always have fights with me about having a bedtime on the weekends. And I don't think kids should have bedtimes on the weekends, they have to have a bedtime on the week days though.
I honestly don't think kids should have a bedtime on the weekends. I mean my kids don't have a bedtime on the weekends only on the weekdays, but my kids always fall asleep around 3ish and wake up around 9:30 so I don't mind
No bedtimes on the weekend. So I have this thing with my kids so one weekend they can stay up till whenever but then the next weekend bedtime 12:30 and then the next weekend stay up till whenever so that's what we do.

13y old
11pm on the weekends and we wake up by 9ish if he isn't already awake (often he wakes naturally about 8:30.) He does much better when he is in bed at a decent time and doesn't sleep in too late. 14y Often puts himself to bed before 11 (closer to 10-10:30) and though he is naturally an early riser (up by 7am) he recently told me that he is less sluggish through the day if he is up by 6, so he started setting his alarm for 6 on weekends (that is the time he gets up for school.) I am naturally a morning person and am NOT a night owl. I never pulled an all night in college or grad school, and was routinely in bed by 11 in college and took 8-9am classes (and went!) |
PP - 11pm is when the internet goes out. So, they get bored and go to bed. I don't tell them they have to go to bed, but they have to get off their phones/XBox.
