I hope he's OK. I only know him from TV but I just adore him. He seems so kind, genuine and caring for all those he's helped to live healthier lives. And if you've seen him on shows like Who's Line... he is freaking hilarious.

Something about him (and most other happy go lucky people) has always made me suspect the constant smile was masking a lot of pain. I hope he pulls through this ok.

I am fascinated by this. I just can't wait to see what happens. My mom did his videos when I was a kid - I didn't know the word then, but found him to be manic.

He's been very open about his obesity and bouts with depression and mental illness...for decades.
