Does it mean anything with 3's or 4's in the progress card?

So if a kid gets all 4s or mostly, does that mean anything for future AAP status? Or is that only related to assessment scores?

My K child received all 4s in math, reading, etc, but all 3's in the extras - PE, art, music?! I don't get it.

My kid got 2's in citizenship in second grade and it was a ticket right into the AAP program. Where she now gets 3's and 4's in citizenship/

I think she was bored and needed to act out to create more excitement. Now she's more challenged in AAP and isn't acting out. Or something like that. Just glad we're no longer getting the daily teacher email from her teacher telling us what appalling things our daughter did in school today.

Does anyone ever get comments regarding the extras? We get the grades, but I really don't know what is going on in these classes.
