| I like it. I like short, simple names and Roy is a cute one. Also not that common but definitely recognizable is a good thing, I think. |
|
Honestly, my first thought was of Roy Clark and Heehaw. That probably dates me though.
Next thought was Ole Roy dog food (I think that's what it's called). But, oddly enough, I like the name Roy. You never hear it anymore and it's a good name. |
| OK OP, we all agree. Please come back and report when Baby Roy is here. Cute! |
LOL, wow, did not expect such positive response! My great-grandfather passed away when I was too young to remember him, but I heard lots of stories about "Papa Roy" while growing up. And I always assumed his full name was Roy Rogers. Talk about mind blown when I found out not only was he not Roy Rogers, but also he had no connection to the restaurants. Now we just have to decide between Elias Roy and Roy Elias (Elias is another family name, so non-negotiable there). |
Who? No. Just no. |
| I kinda like it! |
Why are you dooming future generations to horrible names? I hope you're understanding if they break free and name their kids good names they like instead of carrying on ugly-sounding names. Elias is less bad than Roy. Roy is awful. So Elias Roy. Ugh. |
Shorter PP: I don't like those names, and I think that everybody should agree with me. |
+ 100 YES!!!! My only association with the name! |
Booooo you suck, nobody agrees with you. |
| I'd love to meet a baby Roy. Go for it! |
Depending on your last name I would go with Roy Elias. I like Roy! It's cute and different without being weird. |
I adore this movie "Our children are the spawn of hell, and you're the devil!" "bababababababababa" |
| How about Fauntleroy? |
