Question About Visitation in NICU

I had a c-section in the early morning at VHC and had my epidural left in overnight. I could not move my legs (at all) until 48 hours after delivery. I was hooked to a catheter as well so there was no way to be moved from my bed to go to the NICU until 2 days later. However, my husband was spending lots of time with our baby in the NICU and showing me pictures and videos. I did briefly get to hold my baby right after delivery before they wheeled me into recovery. I had a rough recovery and was in such bad shape that I couldn't even think about asking to be moved from my bed. As soon as I was able to get in a wheelchair, my husband wheeled me down to the NICU.
