Shameless on Showtime

+1. So filthy...on so many levels

For those who have not watched Shameless, you have no idea what you're missing! There are so many characters, each so different but all of them pretty EF'd up, which the writers are able to express in a very comedic sort of way.

The show isn't a comedy, but it isn't a drama either. That said there are times when you laugh, and times you feel really bad about some of the characters.

Also, if you are thinking of starting to watch Shameless you really just need to binge watch all of the seasons because there is so much character development throughout all of the seasons - and it will be difficult to really understand and appreciate the storylines.

FYI, it's a re-make of a British show.

Where they met, fell in love, and now they're divorcing. Boo.

The British version is on Netflix. I watched for five minutes, but vastly prefer the Showtime/American version.

I absolutely love this show. It feels so wrong w the story lines, but I laugh out loud. I'm on season one. Joan Cusack is fricking hilarious.

Omg. I just started it last week. Already on season 2. AMAZING. I love Lip!

I enjoyed it until Frank got the liver. Extremely unrealistic, there is no way he would have gotten one.

I have been watching since season one. And DVRd season seven to binge watch. I just started binge watching last night, the first three episodes. The show has been on for seven years and it keeps on delivering . It is raunchy, but it is great. The kids have grown up so much. I don't know who I like best. I have hated and loved each character at different times.

I'm glad they haven't changed the opening sequence. It's fun to see the kids so young again. It's great that the actors are all still the same.

Can someone remind me what happened to Mickey's sister (her name escapes me right now)? Where is she?

I am the one binge watching season seven. And I've only watched six episodes so far. However the last I saw of Mickey's sister she was a high-priced call girl. A customer died while she was with him and Ian is going to help her get rid of the body.

I've found the latest season boring. I'm kind of tired of it.
