did you paint kitchen cabinets?

If you MUST do it, be sure your overall style is agreeable to brushstrokes, because your final paint finish will show them.

You know you can spray at home, no? Not sure why people don't realize this.

Furthermore as a homeowner who used a sprayer, if you are hiring "professionals" then make sure they spray or else don't contract with them. Only drawback of spray is for the frames, you have to do those inside and it takes a ton of prep. Doors are easily done in the garage or outside.

Can you get more estimates for replacing the doors and refacing? All they do is put matching tape on the frames and replace the doors. There must be some people who will do it for less. Check around if you hate those arched oak cabinets. I could not live with those, and it would be worth it to me to get nicer, Shaker cabinet doors.
