what do you think of Jack Rogers sandals?

I'd never wear them - but they seem to be essential part of the suburban/club uniform

Wow. Now that is seriously judgemental and yet, I bet you consider yourself a pretty open minded type of chick, hmm?

Granted, girls/women who wear JRs do tend to be a certain "type" but not in the way you portray it. I am a registered Dem, don't belong to a "country-club" but do belong to a city-club, and I doubt anyone who knows me would describe me as "prissy" in any way. I am pro-choice, pro-marriage for all consenting adults, pro-equality, and pro-JRs. No item of clothing (within reason) is, or should be, an indication of who-you-vote-for-or-what-you-believe-in. That PP, is a very quick way to mis-judge someone entirely. Now, if you said JR wearers tend to be more conservative and preppy dressers, well then I would certainly agree.

Lighten up. I guess you missed that I was joking. But, no, I don't think I'm open-minded. I am an elitist leftist who prefers to be surrounded by like-minded folk. We all wear the same clothes, too-just not JRs.

I think most "social/demographic" groups tend to dress alike. Frankly, that's why I like to mix it up a bit. Cool jeans and boots one day, a tailored dress the next, a hippy skirt and tshirt the next, a little Roxy, a little lilly, a little bohemian, etc. it keeps people guessing, but moreover actually fits who I am-- which is eclectic to be sure.

15:32 here. I don't agree with your first statement, at least not once you leave college. As for your second comment, I agree totally and the last, well, yup, me too.
