How is your Federal Agency celebrating the holiday's

Anonymous
My small agency has an early afternoon party (usually 1-3), with early dismissal afterward. We have the food catered and then people bring in desserts, with prizes for the best home-baked desserts.

We pay for the party through donations. Most staff members give $10-20, and the senior staff give larger donations.

It's a fun, relaxed time, and most people attend.

My office can't do anything because everyone started hoteling at the end of November. Prior to that we were in the office more. Most people are here only once a week and have to share cubicles now.

What do you mean by "the AA"?

AA means administrative assistant. What did YOU think they meant?

Probably African American! We throw the best parties.

For Thanksgiving, we did a potluck in the building. Attendance was decent and the food wasn't bad. Our Chief and Deputy bought the turkey.

For Xmas, we're going to an off-site restaurant with a lunch buffet. There will be a gift exchange (bonus points for those who bring booze or lottery tickets, although I'd die if the blowhard in the next office won $4M off my $2). Attendance is pretty good.

But white people can dance. (Insert video of Elaine Benes dancing at company holiday party)
