OMG, please plan my Disney trip

I would LOVE to plan your Disney trip!

Pre-kids we stayed at the Boardwalk since it was walkable to two parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios). We may go back to that when our child is older but for now we aim for a monorail hotel like others have mentioned. Mainly because you will spend most of your time at the Magic Kingdom and it is fast to get back for down time. I would pick the Polynesian since it is the most themey of all of them and kids seem to like themes. They Polynesian is also walking distance from the transportation and ticket center which is where you can get the monorail to Epcot. That way you don't have to transfer.

If your kids are in to seeing characters, go to one or more character meals. That way you can see the characters, get one on one time with them, and not have to wait in line to see them in the parks.

Make all your dining reservations ahead of time (you can 6 months out). Places book up. Table service restaurants are good if you have younger kids and aren't trying to pack in every single ride. That way you don't have to worry about finding a table, juggling a tray with a kid.

Book your fast passes ahead of time. Nothing is worse than waiting on line with kids! I remember going there as a child pre fast pass and I was sooo bored!
