Seriously, this stuff is so relatable! It inspires me to go live the life of a rockstar, and since when is living the life of a rockstar a bad thing?!

Rock star is actually intended to be ironic/self deprecating I think. I've always listeneed to it as a self-aware statement on why people hate their band so much. So, I love it

I can't believe people hear the lyrics and don't understand that the song is a joke about lame rock star excess. It's not my favorite song, but the satire is obvious.

I saw "Saving Me" on VH1 one day and really liked the concept behind the video. I didn't really pay attention to the group or the lyrics. A few years later I heard Rock Star in a department store and couldn't stop laughing. I downloaded the single and eventually figured out that they were the same group behind Saving Me. I bought their album once I made the correlation but couldn't really get into it.

I have no idea why they're supposed to suck . I have to like them. I'm Canadian. I do like them in an embarrassed ironic way. The same way I feel when the song Roxy Roller by Sweeney Todd comes on. "Oooooooo I'm embarrassed but I'm starting to dance.... god help me...."

Go listen to the third track off the new Yob LP , or play the new NoiseaTron, and then see how NB stacks up. There's amazing new rock out there but it's not on corporate radio stations.
