Here's your reason, straight from Hendricks:
When I first started dating my husband, I had this weird fascination with the circus and clowns and old carnival things and sideshow freaks and all that. About a month after we started dating, he bought me this amazing black-and-white photo book on the circus in the 1930s, and I started sobbing. Which freaked him out. I thought, Oh, my God, I mentioned this three or four weeks ago and talked about it briefly, but he was really listening to me. And he actually went out and researched and found this thing for me. It was amazing." |
and this...
"I was just thinking the other day, 'Oh gosh, I just want to go home and read a book in bed next to my husband,'" Hendricks said. "And sleep...Oh, I get to do that every day until I die. It's a nice feeling." People do fall in love. |
There was an episode of Top Chef where the chefs prepared food for a reception for them -- this was before I watched Mad Men and have never seen him in anything. They were a sweet and delightful funny couple. Certainly on equal ground looks wise. |
I would bet half the people on this site in marriages don't match up physically, meaning, a picture would make one wonder, why are these people together? |
+1 she is not even overweight by BMI standards (which can be pretty unforgiving). She is curvy in all the right places. I love her and wish there were more women in Hollywood that looked like her. |
as a mad men fan, i never got the appeal of hendricks. it wasnt until this last season where i "understood" why people fawned over her.
she has a natural sex appeal and that is attractive. while she is not an eye sore, that sex appeal boosts her attractiveness. i still dont believe she is overall the greatest looking woman on earth. i do however see and understand part of her appeal. for lack of a better word, she has "swag". |
HAHA! my husband said recently that even though i'm the better half he hopes people don't see us together and think why is she is THAT guy? |
Nope, her skin is beautiful sans makeup. |
I am 3 inches taller and same weight. Most here would say I was obese. (I am really the heavier side of normal.) |
Hello, fellow Firefly fan! |
I'm 3 inches shorter and same weight. Definitely obese by DCUM standards, but I can't say I feel good about myself either. |
Glad he got a laugh! |
