| Started at 22 with a 22k salary. It's been 12 years and I have 115k in it. Get the match. Anyone that doesn't take it is foolish. The way I looked at it, the market would have to drop by more than half before I lost any of my own money. |

At 32, when I started as a fed, I have always maxed since then but I started late. At almost 19 years in I have about 600K.
