How to get rid of weeds between fences

Now I am just a poor helpless woman with a question on this topic.

I spray the weeds between the two fences with Roundup and then they die looking terrible. I can not reach to clean them out so I bought a trash grabber which won’t work on theses dead weeds. Any suggestions and be nice!
