Is PP someone whose application was rejected? I've seen this axe ground in other anti-Beauvoir posts. The lead math resource teacher is a former corporate lawyer who switched careers to teach math at Beauvoir--an older, career changing new teacher who now has a successful new career teaching there.
Stop trashing the school, PP. You may want to consider the possibility that they didn't have space for your "talent", or that you simply lacked the qualifications.

That's right! If you question the program it's automatically because you're a reject or have an axe to grind. There is no room for dissent!

Why are you dissenting constantly is the question? You must have something better to do than trash a school that you don't even attend! Focus on where you are and be happy there!

You're kind of missing the point here...PP (in bold) was suggesting that perhaps some of the criticism of Beauvoir is not coming from disgruntled rejected applicants, but actual Beauvoir parents. It may be shocking to think that some Beauvoir parents have criticisms of the school, but it's hard to believe that every Beauvoir parent marches in perfect, synchronized lockstep. I personally have no axe to grind and think that Beauvoir sounds like a wonderful school, but it seems like any criticism posted on this board (regarding Beauvoir or any other school) is inevitably attacked by someone accusing the poster of being an embittered rejectee. It's just silly.

I'm always skeptical of anyone who either loves something or hates something without thinking and analysis. Ex-parent here. Beauvoir had many fine points but it can make many other improvements too. This post is trying to get to one aspect of the school - teachers and potential rate of turnover. Someone discussed why Beauvoir was a stressful place to teach and I would like to hear more about that. Teachers are the most significant piece of the school puzzle.
