Rowing for sure. You are doing the exact same thing over and over again, so the slow processing speed can be overcome.

good point! and it would improve his core strength....which would in turn improve his overall muscle tone.

My DD fences and if your child has slow reaction times, I wouldn't recommend fencing. Sorry. But I think rock climbing might be a good choice. You can go as fast or slow as your need to (there is no time pressure and you aren't reacting to what an opponent throws at you like in fencing). Plus it is good for hand eye coordination as you need to figure out where to place your hands and feet.

If he really wants to play a team sport, maybe a rec league team in MSI (if in MoCo). There is great variability in skills and coordination on my children's teams.

My youngest has motor planning issues and his OT practiced certain skills with him and worked a lot on balance so that he could participate with his peers.

yes, motor planning is what comes along with his coordination disorder.

He's a fast runner, so I bet he will like it
