What do you mean when you say you "can't afford" a college?

I'm another single parent and a teacher and by the time my child gets to college, I'll be making around $70K. I might start saving in the next 3-4 yrs once I get a raise or two under my belt. Right now, I feel successful when I pay all of my bills on time each month. My child is going to need scholarships and plenty of FA.
