+1 I've never heard of it in the garage. Ever. But, I grew up in the cold north so this would be impossible because the lines would freeze. Deal-breaker? No. Strike against the home? Yeah, probably a couple of strikes. |

Not from California, and would find it odd, but not a deal breaker. Really, the fact that it's not on the same level as the bedrooms would be the most annoying part for me, but that's true of many many houses.
I would say not to worry about it to much, but I discovered on another thread recently that most of DCUM would count me as living in squalor just because we don't have a sink in our laundry room. People here are weird about their laundry. |
Me too! I didn't know it was a CA thing. I don't like it at all, but would still consider the house. We have the laundry in an unfinished basement and I hate that, too, but we still bought the house. I like a clean laundry room. |
