If you don't get a good school in the lottery what will you do?

Well bully for them. My kid is in first grade at a terrible school after loosing out on the lottery FOUR TIMES. I'm moving. A "safe" school? The safe schools are safe because they aren't good.


Good for you. Seriously, not sure why parents who have the ability/option to move or send their kids to private would choose to stay in a situation where their kid isn't getting what they need.

Uh... For a lot of people your IB pk3 or 4 is not guaranteed.

Our IB doesn't even have a PK3 program.

Okay, fine, but then those people have a good WOTP option that is guaranteed for K. I'll wager that most people who are playing the lottery do not have a WOTP school as a fall-back.

For 3, 4 yr olds, you can always pay for private daycare like most other places in this country.

If you can afford it. In our case, one parent is staying home because we have two of that age.
