GP waitlisted

My son was admitted from the wait list a few years ago. I never even "kept" him on the list and enrolled him in another school. However, the admissions department contacted me when they accepted him. At that time, they told us that they only put boys on the list that they anticipate admitting. Meaning their wait list is very real. Hope that gives you optimism my son did go and graduated.

Thank you for sharing great news~

Would you mind telling us approximately when you were contacted?

Thank you!

Might explain why Prep is trying to raise its academic profile and increase its boarding offering program.

Its old image is gradually fading away

What do you base this on? I looked on web site and could find no proof of a decline in number of graduates per class. Do you know what admit percentage is?

I heard there was declining enrollment from Prep parents so I think it's true. OP sounds like your son has a great shot. If I were you I would just sit tight.

If you're coming from a parish K-8, ask your principal to reach out to advocate for your son.
