Goodness, what on earth is there to be mad about? The poor man is moving on a day his parents can help, since apparently you're not available. You should be feeling a little guilty, OP. |
This!! You scheduled a brunch for him the weekend he was moving vs being there helping him? He should be mad at you! |
| ...and don't think we've forgotten about "my girlfriends and i" ! |
| Dude, brunch is far less important than moving. Is this a bad episode of Sex and the City, where Carrie wants Mr. Big to meet her friends? |
|
He gets a free pass.
Perhaps there was a last minute change of plans w/his folks + he really needs their help moving so he needs to utilize their services. I would say that takes full precedence over some afternoon brunch. Moving is stressful and tough work so give him a break. Think about your man right now and less about yourself. |
| So have we convinced you, OP? Either cancel brunch, or grad over to your BF afterward to help him or at least keep him company...or at least offer. |
| How old are you? You sound very young. |
| The 20 year olds have invaded the relationship forum with yet another "me me me" stomping foot and pouting problem |
| You need to break up with him. Do it while his parents are there. Or better yet, make him stand up his parents to come to your brunch and then break up with him. Come on who does he think he is? |
36 and brunch is very important to me! It's like a buffet brunch...you know all you can eat. |
Haha! |
Wait, that was a joke right? Please tell me that was not OP? |

Especially when said by my English teacher or journalist friends. Drives me nuts. Also saying 'him/her and I' as the subject of a sentence. |
| Troll party. |
