| We married in our 30s but I was 28 when we met. DH likes to say we met in a bar. It was at a going-away party for a colleague of his at Murphy's in Woodley Park. My roommate was dating another colleague of his and I ended up playing softball for their games on the Mall (they were perpetually short of women). Yet another colleague of DH was trying to set me up on a date with a friend of his at the party. The friend left early and I arrived late. Met DH. 20 years ago. |
