Judge Judy is a very guilty pleasure in that I have to say, I get a sick pleasure out of watching other people get humiliated in front of her.

It's like I am thinking the whole time, "God...What an idiot he/she is!! I can't believe he/she is putting themselves out there like that. How embarrassing....!!"

I even started wondering why in the world people actually DO put themselves in that unenviable position of looking like an idiot in front of millions on National television. In all honesty, Judge Judy terrifies me to death.

Turns out, the people get a free trip to L.A., all expenses paid. Travel, hotel accommodations, meals for them and their guests too. Plus, the get to appear on T.V.!!

The best part is there is a monetary fund set up prior to the show, if the person gets sued their judgment comes out of that fund, but if they do not get sued or they win a case, they get to keep the monies too.
