That's right. Plus the kids go on other trips too, like the 8th grade overnight science trip to the Chesapeake and an overnight river trip for the 7th grade. They are at the beginning of the school year - great for class bonding at the beginning of the year.

20:32: not sure what you're referring to. the current 8th grade class is the normal size for WES -- 29 students in two homerooms.

We left because we found the teaching style to be less innovative/ more outdated than our local public school. Although, you don't realize this in the interview. Being in a class is very different from the open houses and interviews.
