Are you the same poster that really likes her sister in law, but wants her to pay rent? |
Dr Phil says if you don't have a job, you should be spending 8 hours per day looking for a job. How much effort/time is your sister in law looking for a job? What did she do prior to moving into your home? |
I had 20 years experience mostly in management when my company went under years ago. It took me over a year to find a good job and was very stressful. But meanwhile I did temp jobs, mystery shops, I volunteered, etc. Maybe she can sign up with some temp agencies? I found numerous jobs through temp agencies after signing up with maybe a dozen. Some advertised jobs but never offered anything. Some sent me on a job for 1, 2, 3 days. Others sent me on jobs that lasted a month. I came to my current company 8 years ago on a temp job that was supposed to last less than a week. Anyway, long story short, if she has basic office skills she might be able to get some temp jobs, even if it was just once in awhile, it's better than nothing! |
Are you the same poster who always asks people if they are the poster in a different thread and is wrong most of the time? |
My sister is this age - I have the sense that this generation will only apply to it's dream job. PEople typically feel so sorry for the milennials but the truth is that parents/society told thme nothing was good enough for thme and now w ehave this problem. |
