It must vary depending on the manufacturer, but we have stainless appliances, (higher end) and I don't have the problem with smudges. I wipe the fridge down once a week, but that is not due to smudges, it is more like dried pudding that my dd got on the handle when she was opening the door. I rarely wipe down the other appliances due to smudges. As far as magnets. I am not a big fan of magnets all over the fridge because it looks too cluttered for me. Instead, we bought a magnet board that we have in another part of the house. |
Not the PP you quoted, but I agree. The OP said nothing about the functionality of the appliances. They are brand new. He/she is going to do a complete reno in a few years. The only reason to replace the appliances now is aesthetics. And it might not even be actual aesthetics, but some gut idea of what "should" be in a kitchen. I am no tree-hugger, but appliances are costly things to manufacture and move around from an environmental perspective. We are not talking about a coat of paint here. From what the OP said in her post, she sounds shallow to me as well. |
