Different strokes, I guess.

Doughy bread, too-sweet sauce, and an asshole of an owner.

Papa John is a saint.

This. All of it. If he's a saint, he's the patron saint of assholes.

He's a right-wing asshole. Even the football players who film commercials with him look like they can't stand him. Plus, he makes crap pizza. I could overlook the assholery if the pizza was good. But it's not.

If you in upper NW, Besta Pizza on Conn Avw NW is good.

I preferred Valentino in Alexandria, but they didn't deliver to my neighborhood. So frustrating!

Domino's always reminded me of college, and I harbor a secret love for it, but again, as a native NYer, I could never actually say that out loud in real life.

YES to Valentino's- if you live near one they have awesome pizza.

I have always really liked Angelicos - their portobello mushroom pizza and sandwiches are so good.

As for big chains, I think Domino's is the most edible.

Vocelli's. Love the thin crust pizzas. Less greasy compared to pizza hut or dominoes.

Mmm, yeah, I love the doughy crust. No thoughts on the sauce really, I like it. No opinion on the owner either. I just love the crust, that's the key to me. I hate crunchy crust.

Not a chain, but Lost Dog has great pizza.

I like Papa Johns and that was where we used to order from. However, I am so turned off by his politics and don't want to give him $$$.

We usually do Ledos, Paisanos, or Listranis.

Ledo's is the BEST!!

Can't believe that no one has mentioned Pete's Apizza, for local chains. Pete's is the best!
