I wouldn't bill for a complex lac repair for a tiny lac just below the eyebrow. Maybe the Doc miscoded?

I think the doc "miscoded" with the expectation that no one would call him on it.

I have tried that, and I was "invited" to leave the medical establishment if I did not submit.

Problem is, I've also been instructed by my employer NOT to divulge my SS number.

-given the dilema between my orders and my need for medical care, I did not lie; I gave the least-untruthful answer possible.

Um. Did you not call the number on the back of your card before going to the dr? Out of network means you are taking your chances.

Why didn't you go to the ER?

What does your employer have to do with it? None of their busunessxwhat information you give to a medical provider.
