S/O: Not allowing vaxed children around non-vaxed

In my experience , anti vax people are very vocal and it is not difficult to find out .
I recently dropped out of a play group when I had a newborn because there was an anti vax family that joined. She was all over social
media with her opinions and just not someone I cared to spend my time with , as PP said ,much less expose my newborn to

We delay and selectively vaccinate. DH is a doctor (MD) and we don't believe in a one size fits all approach to vaccinations. We read all the research and had discussions with the pediatrician, who agreed with us and was fine with an alternative vaccine schedule. We did some vaccines on time but skipped others and delayed some. Our child did have a significant but short duration reaction to one vaccine even with spacing them out. We will have all vaxes that are required for school done by school age as required by the state.

What specialty ? I don't believe this unless he is an Ortho

I'm vaccinating my children - well, first child - normally: on time, all vaccines. This is, in my experience, the exception rather than the rule here in Southern Califirnia. I have one friend who delays, one who forgoes completely. I disagree with them on this point, but I don't see it as a reason not to be friends or "associate" as other posters have mentioned.
