Thanks! He wasn't a perfect person by any means (far from it!) and I'm sure he gave as good as he got from his ex but he made a huge mistake in giving into the pressure to let go and he deeply regretted it.

Circle of life. These things always come back to bite you. Trying to break the tie between the father of your child and your child is just evil. Whatever issues you have with ex, deal with it. Don't use the little guy to punish the father.

I couldn't agree more! I told my friend to put herself in her ex's shoes and think about how she would feel.
