Anything that is shortened to "Ro"
I don't know why but I love the name Ro- sounds short, sweet, strong, cool, etc. |
| Naveen |
| I always liked Vijay and Ajay, because they sound like V.J. and A.J. |
+1 - makes me think of that sexy English guy from "Lost" and "The English Patient." |
Actually they don't if you pronounce them correctly. That's why I'd never use them. |
Agreed. Vijay is not pronounced Vee-jay, it's Vih-jai. Ajay is not Ay-jay, it's uh-jay. |
+1 |
Dev or Raj. I feel like every Indian guy I know is Ravi or Vijay so those are played out for me personally (like I matter). I knew a Vivek once - that's a nice name.

Indian-American here, married to a Jewish guy who only wanted names that were pronounceable. We settled on a name we both like, but other names I love are:
Kavi Nevin Naveen Kaveen Akshay Aakash |
| I've heard the name Shaan recently and really like it. |
Original poster here, thanks everyone for the recs and comments! Kavi is also on the top of our list - but we would want to prounce it Kah-vee, which is how it would most likely be assumed to be pronounced in the US; however is the correct pronounciation be kuh-vee? I have seen/heard it both ways. Is this one that is acceptable either way? |
