There have been two teacher changes this year in the whole school, both left for other jobs. The senior administration has been exemplary and personable for us as a family. We are looking to enroll our other child next school year, who has potentially significant physical and speech needs. They have already met with me to discuss how we will transition him to a school environment and are able and willing to accomodate and "hold my hand" through the process. We have every confidence this school will be a success. Those are the facts as i see them, bash all you want, or be pedantic about people's choice of words, but your child may just be missing out.

Sincerely glad you're happy there. However I'm 110% positive my child is not missing out. You're happy there, we're happy not being there. Win-wins are always good.

I hope this doesn't sound horrible to ask, but are most families at Sela Jewish? I imagine that to do justice to Hebrew language and culture there would be a fair amount of religious conversation, and I'm wondering how left out or confused kids of other religions might feel?

I keep putting it as my number twelve lottery pick (since I'd really like bilingual and it seems like the best odds) and then changing my mind, so I figured I'd just ask and hope no one gets offended.

Err vast majority are not Jewish. I know there is a family that are part Israeli but not Jewish, in terms of actual numbers of Jewish people I cannot say, no one talks about it. I am sure some of the Israeli teachers are Jewish but again no one asks and no one cares.

I wasn't writing to you personally, I was writing in general to people who love to troll sela threads. I don't get the deal. I'd say I am glad you are happy but I don't care. The post wasn't to you and your child personally.

That was my first post in this thread, so I was quite clear you weren't addressing me directly, but thanks for going the extra mile and making sure I know you don't care about me or my child. It's DCUM, and you posted an opinion, including that "your child may just be missing out". I know that was a general "your", just weighing in that I'm glad it's going well for you, but as a member of the general public reading your post I am just weighing in that I have no doubt that my child is not missing out.

If your post was only directed at trolls, I didn't understand that, so if that's who you're talking to I'll just mosey on out of here...

PP, ignore previous poster. There was a crazy Sela booster in these threads a while ago; she probably has come back.

Is it 100% certain they've been approved to revise their charter to include PS3? If they have, and they're definitely doing it, I'd say you have a good chance of getting in.

Can they recruit before approved? Or are they doing it already
