| It is true that that is the intent. I have seen kids in te program though who are very bright but it's not clear that their needs couldn't be met at the home school. I have one of each kind of kid. A kid whose needs weren't met and who is at an HGC and a kid who is very bright, would do well at an HGC, but is fine at home school. She scores just as high as her sibling but she fits in to the regular school mold much more easily. |
