I will make an exception for aioli. Otherwise, mayo just grosses me out and I tend to avoid foods that use much of it.

toum--garlic and olive oil spread. We made some from a recipe in the washington post magazine and it's basically really garlicky, vegan, mayo. amazing.

I love full-fat Hellmann's as well but Duke's is in a class by itself. It is not sweet like some other brands of mayonnaise because there is no sugar added. It's tangier.

Olive oil, as someone above said.

The taste and feel are better. Plus, for those of us who do not subscribe to the "Sat fat is just hunky dory" school which is still quite contested AFAICT, olive oil is a "good fat".

Disgusting stuff 90% of the time. I use the minimum necessary on just two foods: chicken salad and tuna salad. Everything else gets ranch or another binder.

The PP did a better job than I can. I can't describe it. It just makes everything taste better. Mmmmmm....mayonnaise.
