VOLT in Frederick

Just go to brunch with your kid. That's what we do when we want to eat there and can't find a babysitter.

We actually like brunch better than the dinner. We took our son and he loved it!

Do try to use it. I think you will really enjoy it. Brunch reservations ar enot as ahrd to get. I would go in the summer. It is nice walking around Frederick. Lots of cute stores. It is about a 40 minute drive from Rockville.

what about using it at the new Lunchbox in Chevy Chase?

In a year (or two) you may feel differently. Save it for a five year anniversary. You will make friends with other parents from pre-k to exchange babysitting.

Agree. If it doesn't expire, keep it until your kid is older and you have a trusted sitter.

If anyone has been for brunch, and can actually constructively comment on cost, I'm curious if $300 is realistic to think we can spend on brunch there for 4 people if we can get another couple to go.

And for the record, I don't think it's abnormal to not have the type of relationship with my parents where I have them take care of my child all the time. They do it when I need it (nanny vacation, for example). I'm happy they do, but I'm not comfortable doing it for recreational purposes due to his needs and their abilities.

Hold up. What is this I'm reading?

Yeah, you got it. The parents, at their ancient and decrepit age of 66, can watch the kid while nanny is on vacation but God forbid they watch the kid for the 4 hours it would take to go out to dinner at Volt. OP's a silly twit.

OP just needs to admit, "I don't really have any interest in going to Volt, I just want to make as much money off this gift card as possible and don't want to drop below my $250 asking price and want affirmation that I'm not being overly greedy."

HAHAHA! Why can't the nanny watch the kids while OP & spouse take a nice day trip up to FredericK?
