My uncle, the kindest soul I know, is currently married to fourth wife. His first wife, the mother of my cousins, is on her fifth marriage, but only third husband.
A friend of my mother's has been married five times, divorced four times. She sites opposition to premarital sex as the reason. |

A former friend is on her sixth marriage.
She is a train wreck in every way. |
fifth marriage, third husband - So she remarried an ex? |
| An uncle has been married three times, all to the same woman. That's right - two divorces from the same woman! |
It takes two to tango - three times, in this case! |

| My uncle. Married 4 times. Tells people 3 because one was annulled. He's cohabitating at age 72 with likely wife number 5. I feel sorry for his kids because he divorced their mother the day they turned 18 and has pretty much ignored them ever since. |
DH has been married three times. He's a nice guy, not crazy ... first was a right out of high school thing that lasted about eight years, followed by a rebound thing. We've been married 25 years. No kids from prior marriages for him, and this was my first.

| IRL? Three times. |

I have a good friend who has been married 3 times. He is currently separated from wife number 3, with a divorce pending (though they are still friends).
He was young when he married his first wife. Really, really stupid when he married his second wife. Well-intentioned when he married his third wife, but rushed into it to help her with immigration and health insurance issues. He really is a nice guy and I think he is one of those guys who gets wrapped into being "the hero" for everyone. I almost got into a relationship with him once, after his second marriage. I'm really glad I didn't because although we are very compatible in some ways, he obviously doesn't have a good track record. |
Or she had two gay marriages. The person I know with the most is on #4: First was essentially arranged by controlling family when she was very young. Second one was real, split for the regular reasons. Third was a reaction to the second, unhealthy marriage that should never have been. Now she seems to have gotten it just right. |
| My dad was married 3 times. My mom was his third. Third times the charm. They were married 48 years when he passed. |

Of my friends, 3 marriages/divorces are the most.
A former boss was married 4 times. They just kept getting younger. |
